Central Division
Homicide Squad

Butler, Katherine Anne
Lieutenant
DIVISION: Central
SECTION: Homicide
BADGE: 512
NICKNAME: Kate, Ice Goddess
Brilliant, disciplined, and impossible to intimidate, Lt. Butler approaches investigations with the precision of a scientist. With advanced degrees in law enforcement and archaeology, she treats each and every crime scene as a layered puzzle, patiently uncovering the truth piece by piece.
She may also be the only detective in Central Division who isn't impressed by Capt. Darington's reputation or charm.

Fitzpatrick, Thomas Ryan
Detective Sergeant
DIVISION: Central
SECTION: Homicide
BADGE: 231
NICKNAME: Fitz
A department veteran and Darington's former field training officer. Close to retirement but still sharp. Fitzpatrick brings experience, instinct, and a long memory for how things used to be done- and how they went wrong. Having known Capt. Darington for over ten years, he sometimes has the tendency to overstep the bounds of rank in order to remind Cap. If Fitzpatrick says something doesn't add up, the squad listens.

MacNamara, Brian Michael
Detective II
Methodical, thorough, and armed with a dry sense of humor, MacNamara builds cases brick by brick. He doesn't speak often, but when he does, it's usually because he's found something no one else has.

Collins, Thomas Frederick
Detective II
Young, quick-witted, and eager to prove himself, Collins brings energy and adaptability to the squad. He asks the questions others overlook- and sometimes that's exactly what cracks a case open.

Kincaid, William Daniel
Detective I
Ambitious, sharp, and perhaps a little too confident, Kincaid has a habit of trying to outthink his commanding officer. He also shares a long history with Lt. Butler- they grew up together. He clearly wants more than her friendship. Butler treats him like the big brother she never had.
Capt. Darington has noticed.

Kamekona, Rudolph (Rudy)
Chauffeur
Although not officially a member of the Los Angeles Police Department, Rudy Kamekona is nevertheless a part of the Central Homicide Squad. As Capt. Darington's chauffeur and majordomo, he sometimes has insight into a case that the team might have overlooked. If there's a homicide, you'll find him behind the wheel of Capt. Darington's Rolls Royce or Bentley ensuring that his boss arrives on time and in style.
